The purchaser is solely responsible for determining whether a proposed research activity is lawful, appropriately authorized, and suitable for the product being purchased.
A product’s availability on the ProTecPep website does not mean that every possible research application is lawful, appropriate, validated, approved, or supported by ProTecPep.
3. Strictly Prohibited Uses
ProTecPep products must not be:

- Resold, transferred, distributed, or supplied to another person for a prohibited purpose
- Relabeled, repackaged, or marketed in a way that conceals or changes its research-only status
- Used in any manner that violates federal, state, local, or international law
The presence of a vial, quantity designation, concentration, laboratory container, bacteriostatic water, or any other packaging feature does not authorize or imply human or veterinary use.
4. Not for Human or Veterinary Use
ProTecPep products are not intended for use in or on humans or animals under any circumstances.
Products must not be used as medications, treatments, therapies, supplements, compounded preparations, injectables, diagnostic agents, or personal-use substances.
Statements such as “research use only,” “not for human consumption,” and “not for human or veterinary use” are material conditions of every sale. They are not optional recommendations and may not be removed, disregarded, altered, or circumvented.
Any use inconsistent with these restrictions is unauthorized, expressly prohibited, and made without ProTecPep’s knowledge, approval, direction, or consent.
5. No FDA Approval or Evaluation
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, ProTecPep products have not been reviewed or approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration for human or veterinary use.
Products are not represented as safe or effective for diagnosing, treating, curing, mitigating, or preventing any disease or medical condition.
A product name, chemical similarity, published research reference, analytical result, Certificate of Analysis, molecular description, or discussion of scientific literature must not be interpreted as evidence of approval, clinical suitability, safety, effectiveness, sterility for administration, or fitness for human or veterinary use.
6. No Medical, Veterinary, or Professional Advice
Information provided by ProTecPep is offered only for general scientific and product-identification purposes.
Nothing on the ProTecPep website, product packaging, Certificates of Analysis, emails, customer-support communications, social-media pages, educational materials, or other content constitutes:
- Medical advice
- Veterinary advice
- Pharmacy or compounding advice
- Diagnostic advice
- Treatment advice
- Dosing or administration guidance
- Instructions for personal use
- A recommendation to use any substance
- A substitute for advice from a licensed professional
ProTecPep personnel are not authorized to provide instructions concerning reconstitution, dosing, injection, administration, treatment, cycling, stacking, personal use, or clinical outcomes.
Questions seeking such information may not be answered and may result in cancellation of an order or restriction of an account.
7. Purchaser Eligibility
Purchasers must be at least twenty-one years old.
By accessing the website or purchasing a product, the purchaser represents and warrants that the purchaser:
- Is at least twenty-one years of age;
- Is legally capable of entering into a binding agreement;
- Is purchasing solely for lawful laboratory research;
- Possesses the knowledge, training, facilities, equipment, and safety procedures reasonably necessary to handle the product;

- Will not resell, transfer, relabel, repackage, or distribute the product for a prohibited purpose;
- Will review available product information and safety documentation before handling the product;
- Accepts responsibility for evaluating the suitability and legality of the intended research activity.
ProTecPep may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify a purchaser’s age, identity, intended research purpose, organization, qualifications, or eligibility.
8. Institutional and Researcher Responsibility
The purchaser is solely responsible for obtaining any licenses, registrations, permits, approvals, protocols, institutional authorizations, ethics approvals, import permissions, or other documentation required for the purchaser’s activities.
Where applicable, the purchaser is responsible for securing approval from an institutional review board, institutional animal care and use committee, biosafety committee, environmental health and safety department, controlled-substance authority, or other appropriate oversight body.
ProTecPep does not determine whether a purchaser’s proposed activity requires regulatory or institutional approval and does not provide legal or regulatory authorization for any research activity.
9. Product Handling and Laboratory Safety
Products must be handled only by appropriately trained individuals in a controlled laboratory environment.
The purchaser is responsible for:
- Reviewing all available safety and technical information
- Conducting an independent hazard and risk assessment
- Using appropriate personal protective equipment
- Maintaining suitable engineering controls and containment

- Properly disposing of products, containers, and waste
Products should be treated as potentially hazardous research materials unless reliable information establishes otherwise.
ProTecPep does not guarantee that every potential hazard, interaction, incompatibility, degradation product, or consequence of misuse is known or identified.
10. Certificates of Analysis and Testing Information
Certificates of Analysis and other analytical reports are provided for research documentation and lot-identification purposes.
A Certificate of Analysis describes only the specific sample, batch, tests, methods, conditions, and results identified in that document. It does not establish that a product is:
- Approved for human or veterinary use
- Safe for administration
- Clinically effective
- Suitable for compounding
- Suitable for diagnostic use
- Free from every possible contaminant or hazard
- Appropriate for a purchaser’s particular research protocol
Purity, identity, quantity, sterility, endotoxin, microbial, heavy-metal, or other analytical results must not be interpreted as authorization for human or veterinary use.
The purchaser remains responsible for determining whether additional testing, validation, controls, or documentation are necessary for the intended lawful research application.
11. Product Information and Scientific Literature
Product descriptions, chemical properties, molecular information, published-study references, and summaries of scientific literature are provided solely to assist qualified researchers with general identification and research planning.
References to third-party studies do not mean that ProTecPep:
- Endorses the study or its conclusions
- Guarantees that the study is accurate or reproducible
- Claims that the product will produce a particular result
- Represents that research findings apply to humans
- Recommends any clinical or personal application
- Claims that the product is safe or effective
Research information must be evaluated independently by qualified individuals in the context of the purchaser’s own lawful research protocol.
12. No Reliance on Packaging or Product Form
Packaging format, vial size, stated quantity, concentration, color, closure type, or product presentation must not be interpreted as evidence that a product is intended for injection, ingestion, compounding, administration, or personal use.
Any syringe, vial, water, laboratory accessory, or other item shown or sold by ProTecPep is supplied only for lawful laboratory applications unless explicitly stated otherwise.
The purchaser may not use product presentation, packaging, testing, or labeling to represent that a product is a medication, treatment, therapy, supplement, cosmetic, or consumer product.
13. Resale and Transfer Restrictions
Products may not be resold, transferred, distributed, furnished, or otherwise made available to any person or entity when the purchaser knows, suspects, or reasonably should know that the product may be used for a prohibited purpose.
A purchaser who lawfully transfers a product for legitimate research remains responsible for ensuring that:
- The recipient is at least twenty-one years old;
- The recipient is qualified to handle the product;
- All original labels, warnings, batch information, and research-use restrictions remain intact;
- The transfer complies with all applicable laws;
- The product is not marketed or represented for human or veterinary use.
Products may not be relabeled, repackaged, or advertised under another name in a manner that removes, obscures, contradicts, or weakens the original research-use restrictions.
14. Prohibited Customer Communications
Customers may not use ProTecPep’s website, support channels, reviews, social-media pages, or other communication platforms to request, provide, promote, or distribute information concerning:
- Personal dosing
- Injection or administration instructions

- Treatment protocols
- Cycles or stacks
- Expected personal results
- Medical or veterinary claims
- Weight-loss or bodybuilding use
- Self-experimentation

ProTecPep may remove such content, decline to respond, suspend access, cancel orders, terminate accounts, and preserve relevant records when necessary to protect the company, the public, or comply with legal obligations.
15. Order Review, Refusal, and Cancellation
ProTecPep reserves the right, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to review, refuse, place on hold, or cancel any order when:
- The intended use is unclear;
- A purchaser requests personal-use, dosing, reconstitution, administration, or treatment information;
- ProTecPep suspects human or veterinary use;
- The order quantity, frequency, product combination, shipping information, or communication raises compliance concerns;
- Age, identity, research purpose, or purchaser eligibility cannot be reasonably verified;
- The transaction may violate law, regulation, policy, payment rules, shipping restrictions, or carrier requirements;
- A purchaser has previously violated this Policy or another ProTecPep policy.
ProTecPep is not required to complete a transaction merely because an order was submitted, payment was authorized, or an automated confirmation was generated.
When an order is canceled before shipment, any refund will be handled according to the applicable payment and refund policies.
16. Suspected Misuse
Purchasers must immediately discontinue any unauthorized activity involving a ProTecPep product.
ProTecPep may restrict or terminate access to its website and services when it reasonably believes that a product has been, may be, or is intended to be misused.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable legal obligations, ProTecPep may:
- Cancel pending orders
- Refuse future transactions
- Suspend or terminate accounts
- Preserve transaction and communication records
- Cooperate with payment processors, shipping carriers, regulators, law-enforcement authorities, or other legally authorized parties
- Take other reasonable steps to prevent unlawful or unsafe activity
ProTecPep is not obligated to provide advance notice when immediate action is reasonably necessary for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or compliance purposes.
17. Purchaser Assumption of Responsibility
The purchaser accepts full responsibility for the selection, possession, storage, handling, research use, transfer, and disposal of all purchased products.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the purchaser is responsible for consequences arising from:

Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits any right or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
18. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the purchaser agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ProTecPep and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, service providers, successors, and assigns from claims, losses, liabilities, penalties, damages, judgments, costs, and reasonable legal expenses arising from or related to:
- The purchaser’s breach of this Policy;
- Unauthorized human or veterinary use;
- Unlawful resale, transfer, relabeling, repackaging, promotion, or distribution;
- The purchaser’s research activities;
- Failure to obtain legally required approvals;
- Misrepresentations made by the purchaser;
- Injury, loss, contamination, or damage caused by improper storage, handling, use, or disposal.
This provision does not require indemnification for conduct to the extent indemnification is prohibited by applicable law.
19. No Waiver Through Communication
No statement made by a customer-service representative, contractor, third party, social-media user, reviewer, or other person may modify this Policy unless the modification is contained in a written agreement signed by an authorized ProTecPep representative.
A failure by ProTecPep to enforce a provision in one instance does not waive its right to enforce that provision in another instance.
No informal communication may be interpreted as authorizing human use, veterinary use, clinical use, compounding, administration, or any other prohibited activity.
20. Relationship to Other Policies
This Research Use Only Policy forms part of ProTecPep’s Terms of Service and should be read together with its Privacy Policy, Shipping and Returns Policy, Legal Disclaimer, and other posted terms.
When a conflict concerns the permitted use of a product, the strictest lawful research-use restriction will apply.
Additional product-specific restrictions, warnings, or handling requirements may also apply and are incorporated into this Policy by reference.
21. Compliance With Applicable Law
Purchasers are responsible for understanding and complying with all federal, state, local, and international laws that apply to their purchase, possession, research, transport, transfer, storage, and disposal of products.
A product’s presence on the website does not constitute a representation that the product may lawfully be purchased, possessed, imported, exported, transferred, or used in every jurisdiction.
ProTecPep may restrict sales or shipping to any location when it determines that a transaction presents legal, regulatory, safety, carrier, or compliance concerns.
22. Changes to This Policy
ProTecPep may revise this Policy to reflect changes in its products, operations, legal obligations, enforcement environment, or safety practices.
The updated Policy will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Changes apply prospectively from the date they are posted unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Continued use of the website or submission of a new order after an updated Policy becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
23. Severability
If any provision of this Policy is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
